Peter Wallenberg Foundation
The Foundation was established by donations from Swedish and Finnish companies, as well as from private citizens, in honor of Dr. Peter Wallenberg’s 70th birthday in 1996.
The Foundation had distributed approximately SEK 58 million in grants since its establishment in 1997.
Focusing on economics and technology
The Foundation supports projects related to economics and technology, preferably projects involving collaboration between Swedish and Finnish scientists.
Applications and review
Universities may apply for grants.
The Foundation only accepts electronic applications submitted online.

Purpose of the Foundation
The purpose of the Foundation is to promote scientific research and support the preparation of teaching or education related to economics and technology, mainly in Sweden but also in Finland. Grants are given to private individuals or institutions for research, teaching and education in these countries.
